"Mathematician in front of scenery"
I am an assistant adjunct professor in the Mathematics department at Mills College. I earned my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Arizona. In the Fall of 2015, I visited Johns Hopkins University. My dissertation research was in algebraic number theory, and was primarily concerned with Galois representations. You can read more about my research here.
Before studying number theory in Arizona, I lived in Missouri and studied other things. I earned a masters degree in Mathematics and a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. While a Computer Science major, I had an internship with the Application Developer Program at Sprint. And before that, I earned a pair of bachelors degrees in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
